My name is Anastasia Leonova in Carastro I am a destination wedding planner, based between Catania and Taormina, and I organize Cordial and Exquisite Intimate Weddings on the biggest island of the Mediterranean.
Married to an Italian military professional who travels frequently, I lived in Stavanger, Norway, until 2023. During my time there, I thrived in an international environment and enhanced my knowledge through environmental studies at the local university. Upon my return to Italy, I expanded my expertise by completing a specialized course that empowered me to plan sustainable events in Sicily.
In Italy, all public events must adhere to minimum environmental standards set by current laws. Although private weddings are not yet included under these regulations, this is a transitional phase, and I firmly believe that soon all events will be required to comply with these guidelines. I am proud to be the first wedding planner in Sicily officially certified in sustainable event planning.
I am the owner of a little elopement venue on the slope of mt Etna – Etnamare secret garden– immersed in the Mediterranean florals, palms, English roses, clematises, and olives. This garden is included in the basic elopement package Magic Sicily.
I am an independent wedding planner with 7+ years of experience, 17+ years of living in Sicily, member of the professional society Wedding planners PRO, the biggest and the first wedding school in Italy. I came to the field of wedding planning from industrial management, applying the best approaches of project management, thus my wedding planning is bespoke, well structured, and secure. I provide also wedding design, florals and can be a multilingual celebrant on some occasions.
