This flower is used both in fresh bouquets and in compositions of dried flowers. Limonium is a typical Mediterranean plant growing along the sandy beaches of Southern Europe. It can be found of all colours of the rainbow, but I prefer delicate shades in wedding arrangements — from pale yellow to lavender, which wonderfully matches with pink peonies and blush roses in floral compositions. Yellow limonium smells pleasantly of citrus fruits, lilac-pink statice is usually odourless or with a light scent of prairie herbs.
Limonium is also called as sea lavender, in bouquets it has meaning of longevity and everlasting beauty.

The advantage of limonium is that it can be kept as a keepsake as a dried flower, and if you pick up other well-preserved flowers, then the whole bouquet can be conserved for a long time or can be used after the wedding in the interior decor. A good solution for “sustainable” brides who do not like fading flowers.
